Our Trip to London
On January 30th me and my art class embarked on a trip to the most diverse and well cultured city of the United Kingdom, London. London is very well known for its many small but creative and astonishing art galleries, as there are many separate and individual galleries dedicated to only one or a few artists which I personally love because with only the gallery dedicating itself to one artist this means the small galleries can have its own theme and its own way of presenting the artist's pieces of work, making each visit a different and wonderful experience.
We began our journey at 7:00am in the morning at Lime street station Liverpool, where we got on a 2 hour virgin train straight to London. As we got off the long journey of the train at around 10:30, we jumped straight into the culture of the London lifestyle and had our first experience of the Tubes, which I personally found very scary as the chaotic rush of the public made it quite stressful, however it was an interesting experience to have. Next, we finally entered the outside of the tubes and took our first sight of the wonderful city of London. I have been to London only one time before in 2011 when I was 10 years old however I was astonished by the different appearance of London as now it has mixture of modern and antique architecture surrounding the city. I was fascinating of the sight of London because I personally believe London has turned into a beautiful city and should be visited at least once in everyone's lives as it is a sight to see. After our first sighting of London we headed straight to the art galleries as we had a busy day ahead and many galleries to see.
